I wonder if Items can have hidden enchantments. if not, what does the potion: detect enchantment really do?

Detect enchantment allows you to see magic items on your mini map and area map when you are within the distance of the potions magnitude. You see all enchantments something has unless it uses scripting.

Detect Enchantment will let you see enchanted items on the minimap as some sort of small colored icon.

You need to make your map big because sometimes the colours are kinda hard to find.

The Helm of Tohan is great. You can put your own enchantment on it and it is capable of holding a huge enchantment when compared to other unenchanted helms.
