A tip for those who are looking to train Divinity, Music skill, and Engineering post-60
Go to the T'rang room, where Z'ant is. Walk over to the door, the one that you need the T'rang arm for. When you click on it without the arm, everyone in your party takes a small amount of damage. Repeat, very quickly, until the weakest member of your party is almost dead, but not quite. Then, spam yourself with Heal All, Regenerating Stone, or Dulcimer of Mending until your party is healed. Continue. It's a VERY fast way to reach 100 skill, call it a sploit if you wish, but I consider it a timesaver. All that time casting charm/divine trap at post-60 skill.. I thought of it because my poor Gatgeteer was unable to train and I really wanted to use my Negat-air. Good luck, folks! |

you can also work up your Water and Alc or Div with CLC/Cure Paralysis cast after you fiddle with either the gas coffin in Lower Monastery or the gas trap door in Lower Marten's Bluff. You can also do the healing training by touching the wrong wires at the training console in Gigas. Or walking through the fire wherever there is one...

Good tip Slag! If you want to take up your healing skills you can also heal monsters, although you can't do this with a gadgy or a bard.

But in the monastery ... level one, last crab on the beach, only rogue on the front protected by fighter and training stealth, mind stab from psi, sleep from alchemist, heal from priest, rinse, repeat, not ad aeternum: when stealth is about 60-65, crab just runs away. And be fair play, after torturing the beast (?) during three days, let him live !!! The few points you gain in mental are very useful (cast one time insanity/1 in yellow at level 3, figher insane, bishop dead). Repeat with a lone green slime, the last rat/bat/roach of a bunch |
