Hello,

Bit of a stupid topic this, but here goes.

In BG1 I always played an Elven character (Normally Ranger or F/T), then when i brought BG2 i took one look at my imported character and thought he sucked...(Visually that is).

The elves in BG 1 were easily the best looking chars, but now im stuck with Humans (always thought the rest looked pretty dumb). But not only that, i think only human fighter dolls look the part.

Does anyone else agree or am i just a loon?

Cheers!

You're right. I noticed it too. In BG2, elves are very ugly. I have an elven archer, and he is by far the most uglyest character I have.
In BG1, I had a hole elf team and they were a pretty bunch.
Well, at least they rock with bows.

someone who agrees that it was a BIG mistake to change the old paper dolls. I used to play female wizards and because their paper dolls looked cool but now...ughh!!!

Agreed,
However the Human thiefs look pretty cool now. Which puts me to a question. When I dual-classed Yoshimo to a fighter his paper doll cahnged too. Is this normal? I used SK to make my dual fighter/thief girlie look like a thief, because the female fighters are so ugly.

Female halflings are awful. I like male wizards though, the doll looks cool.

I thought all the human paper dolls were far too "chunky" - the elf ones are a bit slimmer and seem better proportioned.

heh, i dont have a paper-doll!!! i used SK to make my elven fighter/mage/thief appear as a shadow thief. i use him as a ninja, and gave him the abilities of an assassin, but took away some of his thief skills, and weapon choices. he rocks though. i cant stand the way the characters look onscreen, because they all look the same. all mages are alike, all thieves, all fighter/rangers/paladins. i made a monk and made him look like Irenicus too, lol.

And why does the half-orc paper doll dosn't look like the guy on the screen. I like the half-orc paper doll a little, but when they are on the screen, they look like a normal human fighter.
