Okay, I 'accidently' had a Glabzeru (sp?) chasing me through
the Temple District. This somehow upset the Church of Lathander because they became hostile. In self defense, I killed all the Lathander gang (except one..the healer still heals me  ) I pillaged the place and have the statuette. What's it for? |

hmm... never found that before. although my guess is that it has something to do with a Priest of Talos stronghold quest.

still, it would be there likely. if your main character isnt a priest of Talos, i dont suspect there to be any use for it. of course, thats just my suspicion, i could be wrong...

Oh well. No Talos or Lathander left. I always liked Helm better
anyways.

That statuette only comes into play... when you are EVILLLL... ...
 Remember Mae'var asks you to steal stuff for the his first mission? If you are non-evil, you just have sneak into the Talos temple to get the necklace. If you are evil however, he will ask you to steal the statuette from the goody-two shoes Lathander people; and you will end up slaughtering all of them because there is a undisarmable alarm on the cupboard holding the statuette. ------------------ If not a Sorcerer casting total oblivion, then a Cavalier meting out justice.
