I haven’t played morrowind for about six months now, and I can’t see my self starting over. I got tree character at lvl 45 or higher, all has completed main quest and tribunal, and therefore starting over would be a bit of a bore. The last character is at lvl 68. The question then would be are there any mods that any of you could recommend that would give me a challenge? Would be nice if you could post a link.
I have gotten the urge to play back again, but there are no challenges left in the original game.

Try the Giants mod. A few new creatures will be added to the game, such as Giants (doh), ancient liches (very tough), Seadevils, and Nix hounds who'll hunt in packs. Especially raiding tombs will be more challenging now.

The creatures the giants mod will add, are they leveled?
