Does anybody have this game. I know it's many years old and the graphics are not up to todays standards but still is it a good game?

Outstanding game! Both Thief 1 and Thief 2 are now being packaged together and when I first saw it a few months ago I just knew Thief 3 was a done deal. Do yourself a favor and do a search on these boards for Thief and that will give you a good understanding of how good the Thief World is.

*Whine, Sob* my copy of thief is messed up. Oh well, it's a not-so-legit copy of the game belonging to a friend of my brothers, who split the cost of the game with another friend of his. (is that vague enough for you?)
Anyways at least it gives me an excuse to buy this new 2-in-1 box set I've just heard about. Can't wait for #3!!

The Thief series is great and the graphics, and environment are really pretty good even when compared today's standards especially the sound that feet makes when walking.

One of the cons about the gold version is there is no easy alternative to the round were the undead are swarming around. With the gold version you can no longer block the entrance doors for an easy escape. The round is by far the hardest and most annoying in the game so having the option to quickly bypass it was a bonus.

Prichke which mission exactly are you refering to? I've beaten the game on all difficulty levels with perfect valuables records (with help in 2 missions from the web).

I can't remember what it is called been a long time since I played. But it is the one were you need to steal an item from the Church. Undead are everywhere very scary round. With the original you can open the doors and collect skulls to pile up to keep it from closing behind you.
