Oops Ferros dead!

Upon entering the castle I got in a very large fight and must have killed Ferro with a death wish or asphyxiation !Cause when I got to his shop he wasn't there!I hope this doesn't cause any problems.This is my second time to get to this point in the game.The last time I got here I missplaced the robes for the initiation and had to restart,I'm not about to start all over again,any info on this...Thanks John

Ferro fights on your side, so you didn't kill him; another Rapax did that. Since he's dead, naturally you can't buy anything from him, or have any custom items made.

However, that doesn't affect anything in the game's main line. You can still become a Templar.

But, if you have a save before Ferro died, you may want to go back to that, and avoid visiting his shop until you've become a Templar. He really does have some good stuff for sale.

When you enter that first big battle, you have to protect Ferro. I had the same problem of having him killed and had to reload the first time. You take a right, left, right to get close to him (try running if you can get through the crowd). And cast protections which will include him. Even if you have, say, Armor Shield on...cast it again. Or do a Heal All in Round 2, whatever. By the way, I killed Al-Sedexus in that battle, saved Ferro, and then had to kill her again later! Strange game.

You killed Al-Sedexus in the main castle?? How on earth did you manage that? She only appears in the Templar area for the "night of joy" and her hideaway in the Rift.

That's what she was identified as, I think. Anyone else out there have that experience? Was there some other head sorceress in that battle with a similar name? She was the biggy in the battle, but I might have got the name wrong. I have heard she kind of "resurrects" but would like to know if I was imagining things.

i was wondering around the castle when i first entered( i did alot before becoming a templar. i just killed anyone in my way) anyway i ran into al-sedexus from behind, i right clicked her and it was al-sedexus so i chopped her up to peces in 1 round(i was attacking from behind and she got ko'ed)

she had some nice drops but i cant remember what.
anyway i had a feeling that i did something wrong story wise so i went to a previous save.
much later i found her and did the deed with her.
To add insult to injury i used my self righteous rawulf priest/lord
as the sex slave for the evening.

ohh also i have a problem now
he has that enthralled condition now.
how do i get rid of it.

Is he in love???
awwwwwwww........how special.

Yep, the righteous goofball is in love. He pines away when they are apart. He is smitten, I guess it was his first? To cure him of his carnal desires, puppy love, whatever it may be, he has to leave the area and then come back to her in her little temple (thru the portal). Then kill her. Not sure if this fits the romantic model of true love, maybe more of the "forbidden love" sort of tale. Their love was not destined to be! As Scott Adams (Dilbert) once wrote about Babylon 5 (paraphrased) "And it has interspecies sex..way cool!"

Well, that's really strange. I've never come across her anywhere but the temple and her little place in the Rift.

As for unhexing, you have to kill her. However, we've done that many times without first leaving the Rapax areas. You just go down to her place in the Rift and let loose.

I NEVER meet Al-Sedexus in the Castle near Ferro so this most be wrong she don`t go around in the castle like other Rapax`s, i have played trought the game 5 times now and this have i never seen in my games!

OK, I must be wrong. Memory can be so deceiving! I could swear the main Rapax at that battle was female and not a consort, or whatever. Doesn't matter though. The battle is hard and Ferro is hard to preserve at first. You have to protect him again later, in my experience. I set a portal right next to him and saw many red dots close by whenever I came back for trade.
