ToTSC question

I got a question about installing ToTSC everytime i try
to install it it always ends up freezing and i have to do
the whole ctrl,atl,del thing because it is not responding is this
because of the cd is damaged or my computer sucks and is there anyway
i can install the game off the internet

Sounds like a dirty disk to me. Check it, clean it, examine it for cracks and scratches.

And piracy is strictly forbidden topic.

Read the rules and regs.

No Piracy: DO NOT post links to 'warez sites'. Do not discuss pirating games, bragging about pirating or anything else. This will get your account suspended or banned. The only possible thing you CAN discuss is the so-called 'cracks' for no CD operation. SOME Games don't work on some peoples CD-ROM's. This is because of a special copy protection called 'Safe Disc'. But that is it. Anything else is considered pirating.

My advice, find a friend who has a working disc and do a full install of whatever disc isn't working. That way you won't need it. We can't help much without more info.

What you are saying is "My car is broken. Is it okay to steal a new one? Could someone help me jump start a car?". We have no way to verify your story and (unfortunately) we must assume the worst.
If you are truthful then you have a problem. Do you have access to another CD drive somewhere? Sometimes one drive may have problems reading a disk where another does not. Specifically seek out older drives with lower spin multiplier. Also try to see if you can copy the disk. Sometimes you can extract the data by copying it where you failed to read it. I have personally saved my BG1 disk 2 this way. There is nothing wrong or illegal in making personal copies as backup. In fact I strongly recommend that you start to backup your discs and use the copies.

A final suggestion (and a long shot). Mail Black Isle and tell them your story. Remember to include the CD key number. Sometimes I have heard software companies replace broken CD's out of hospitality. They are in _no_ way obliged to do so.

PS: I encourage you to try out all options. TotSC is worth the trouble.

i know i have already played through it a couple of
times and i had deleted and somehow the cd got messed up
and now im just trying to play it but it wont work
i guess i will just buy another totsc disc again it cant be
that expensive

I saw it on resale when I picked up ToB. I think it was the equivalent of 4$, but prices have a tendency to differ between Europe and America. Good luck.

The game has been out for a while. At most for a new BGI Original Saga which Includes TOSC expansion (you won't need any patches) your talking $20 tops.
