Only after playing MANY hours of WW have I come accross rain!

It was totally unexpected: I had left my party sitting in the wild (near Shurugeon Castle), and left the computer for awhile (in order to wait for the Monk quest to be completed). When I came back 45 minutes later, it was raining!

How often did you travel under rainy clouds in the Gael Serran?
Is it rare, or what?!

HI Glandal Harmony, welcome to the board.

Rain, it comes and goes. But it's not that frequent. Especially when it rains in the Crypt

It seems to me the rain is VERY rare in Gael Serran. My party saw it only one or two times... May be three, but it's a maximum. We are lucky, 'couse we are loved by the fine weather .
And welcome to this wonderful forum

Hello Glandal Harmony! Ain't it a beautiful sight! The rain and the sunset and the butterflies! It is a great game! I didn't see rain very often, maybe four times duing the whole game play, maybe a few more - not often. Oh, and welcome to the greatest forum ever too!

Every so often it will rain...I tend to get it a little more often than what's mentioned here.

The Gael Serran seems to be a semi-tropical climate; no major snowy areas. Too bad...that would have been REALLY neat! I loved the snow areas in the Might & Magic games, especially in MM6, where it really WAS snowing and foggy! I was playing it in the summer and actually started SHIVERING. Talk about realistic!

Summer, Texas, Shivering... It must have been pretty realistic

Change in the weather - living in Michigan where we expect it to change every 20 minutes (no - not literally!) Gael Serran is very unchanging! It would have been nice to have had a wider range of weather. Like Saz, I really enjoyed the wintery areas in M&M when the snow was falling or the fog was thick! Added a lot to the game. Wonder if the designers had planned to give us more "bad" weather and (like so many things) ran out of time.

In my 10 or so trips through this WW, i've only seen rain once. In the grat desert no less. I never saw rain in Accellerated mode, only this time in software mode (so I can see what the differences are)
