Hi again !
I 've just get the Monk-quest and only would like to know, if there is perhaps any other way to become a monk... My journey will take me to Dragon's spire next, and I don't believe that it is very good for my Paladin to go there (2 days) without any armour and weapons.... So is there a trick, or must I really "sleep" 2 hole days in front of the city gates..? Thanks !!!  PS: I just finished the Boogre Prison, and can only say that: I HATE THE DAMNED JUNGLE LILLIES...... At the end I stopped counting, how often I made a reload to get ridd of them.... I hope there will not be too much of those Amazonis in the west... ;-( |

You can wander around the area west of Ishad N'ha rather than just staying near the gates. Always save your game at the gate before checking to see if you have fulfilled the quest yet. If they say you haven't, reload your game.

Another choice is to climb the town gates, leave your character there, behind the gate overnight. You're guy just stands there, waiting, while you rest nicely in your warm and comfortable bed. The next morning (if you didn't have a power failure and you made sure you unequiped everything... make sure you do this
you'll be ready to become a Monk. |

If you don't want to climb the gate or cannot climb the gate, head west to the graveyard that Jathil cannot find. No other creature can seem to find it either. No creature will enter that area on its own once the ghosts have been killed. The dragon will not fly by and although a creature will spawn nearby, they will sit there forever until you step out past the grave stones. A couple of times I did my monk quests there.
