you should have picked this weapon up real early in the game. Can't rem where.

Just discovered, it is supposed to be able to cast "beast claws" once per day. But so far i have not found how to do it..... it is a bug?

No, you have to customise your action bar to add the "use item" icon.

no, you can't actually put the item on your action bar...what you have to do is put the use item button on your action bar. Then you click on that, and it pulls up a list of all the items your wearing which have a spell associated with them that can be used. You click on the one you want and it cast the spell. If an item has multiple spells pause the game and let the tooltip pop up and it will tell you what spell it is.

The collar comes off the worg rider in the three-prong attack in Targos during the Prologue. You must be playing HOF, as I don't recall the collar casting Beast Claw in normal mode.

Seems to work for me too, in normal mode. You do need the little 'backpack' icon on your toolbar to invoke it, though.

First off its the hound sooth collar found around the neck of vhogathan's worg. Second off it casts beast claw in all but HOF, where it only protects vs fera and panic. and third, until you beat the goblin fortress, this is invaluable if u have a monk. He can rake enemys for as much as 30 a hit if his strength is high. A must have up till chpt.2

Ooooh. I hadnt thought about that monk part... Does the monk still get the same attack bonuses or does it revert to the Cleric type BAB when its being used?
