Is it my imagination, or beside Deril, when you go to rescue Cernd's child, there is a lich watching the fight? Is there any clue given there if you are not supportive to Cernd? I find no other way to solve this problem than killing Deril.

Nope, you must kill him. YOu can just threaten him, but IIRC, then he will come back after you.

And yes, there is a Lich in the fight, worth much experience points.

Yes, but the lich did not attack and just left saying something I cannot remember as I was stunned...

No, the Lich doesn't automaticly attack. If you just leave him be, then he won't attack you at all, actually. But if ou start casting spells or atack him, then he will strike at you back.

I always kill it, because it is worth something right over 25,000XP.

Speaking about Liches, is this any of the liches that are present in the cities tombs? And actualy I was wondering, where do you get the clue about the lich that you access using the rogue stone at the docks? And where is the clue about the use of the rogue stone? I once did it by accident! Just a friend of mine told me to always have a rogeu stone on me and... it happened!

1. In the Temple Sewers, in the Unseeing Eye-area, there is a Lich.
In the Bridge District, in the house next to the Twisted Rune, there is a Lich
In the Docks, in the house next to the Sea Bounty Tavern there is a (Demi-)Lich
In the Crooked Crane, in the City Gates, there is a Lich
+++
So no, there are no Liches in any tombs.

2. There is no clue or anything about the Twisted Rune anywhere else in the game, it is sort of a Easter Egg.

I wonder... most rogue stones can be sold for a pretty penny (1500 gp iirc). There's one however that *cannot* be sold (it's grayed out on the buy/sell screen, and has a worth of 0). I wonder if the programmers put this in specifically for the Twisted Rune?

Yes, yes they have. It's found on the corpse of one of the people in the guarded compound. It's the same guy who has directions to the Twisted RUne.

IIRC, wasn't Twisted Rune originally a part of the Bridge District quest, and was restored in a mod (Nalia romance perhaps?)

I have to disagree. We all remember the Nether Scroll and who keeps it and where it is .
