Jaheira romance confusion question(spoilers)

I'm in ch. 6, about to go and meet Drizzt at the graveyard and kill Bhodi. Does Jaheira have to ask me to sleep with her before I go in? Also, does she have to challenge the Druid Grove for leadership before? She's level 13 now, still needs more to go to 14, and I've cleared most everything else out.

The variable in SK is set to 61. Should I lower that to anything? I have the patch installed and it's progressing okay. Terminsel has only showed up once. I killed Dermin already, and she's talked to me about it and seems to be over it, also the sun coming up and night setting lines have gone.

So I guess I need to know if I should go ahead and kill Bhodi or if I have to wait or get her to lead the druid grove first or what. Thanks guys.

Jaheira can't challenge for the druid grove leadership - that is only for the PC if they're a druid, it's the druid stronghold. Jaheira can't get to level 14 anyway (I don't think?) because the experience cap will stop her.

I'm not sure exactly how far along you have to be to have Bodhi vamp Jaheira, you're obviously reasonably far in. My advice would be to go to the graveyard - you'll have an autosave going in so you can reload if nothing happens. Bodhi will take her as soon as you arrive in the graveyard if she's going to at all, so if that doesn't happen then reload and stuff around a bit more for more romance events/dialogue. Also note that it's not essential for the romance to be successful for her to be vamped - just an optional bit, like the locket [img]smile.gif[/img] .

Are you kidding me? I read a FAQ online somewhere that said in order for the romance to be successful, Jaheira has to challenge for leadership of the grove. Guess someone was wrong. But she should reach level 14 though, she needs like 1.5 M or something and I am at 1,300 and climbing. Whatever the exact numbers were they're getting really close and don't look to be stopped, unless something happens.

Otherwise, thanks for the tips. But I should have been more clear, I'm not wondering about her turning vamp part, I was wondering about the spending the night/concluding the romance part. Should that happen before or after attacking Bhodi, turning vamp, etc.?

Well unless you've removed the exp cap or have ToB installed, she won't make it - the exp cap is 2,950,000. So she'll be a few thousand off.

Bodhi won't vamp her before you've hit a certain point in the romance. I don't know whether that's before or after you've slept with her (which is almost the end of the romance), and it's not an essential part of the romance, so there's no time when you 'should' go kill Bodhi. The romance dialogues happen on a real time (half an hour between them with the patch) basis, so it's not like killing Bodhi will trigger the next bit of the romance. If you don't have bugs in your romance then you should be able to finish and sleep with her no problem whenever you kill Bodhi.

Yeah, she'll make it to level 14. She needs 1,500,000 and right now she's at 1,297,327. She's been gaining steadily I've been checking. The XP cap won't let her get beyond that though, I checked the manual it says max Druid can get is 14th level.

The thing I was worried about is concluding the romance, and if I go kill Bhodi and miss the part where she asks to spend the night and concludes the thing(setting up TOB). I thought I had heard someone else doing that before. I don't care so much about the Bhodi thing, I care about seeing the romance through to the end. So I'll go ahead and kill Bhodi then and keep an earlier save, thanks again...

No seriously - she won't. The experience cap is 2,950,000 (no more experience is added beyond this amount). She's a multi-class, so the most experience she can get in each class is half of that - 1,475,000. Therefore, she can't make it to 1,500,000 unless you've removed the exp cap or have ToB installed.

Jaheira cannot reach lvl 14 if you don't have ToB installed.
Even if she was however she couldn't have challenged for the druid Grove.This the Druid Stronghold which is intented only for the PC.
Now for the romance Bodhi will abduct Jaheira if your JaheiraRomanceActive is 2.Use the Console to check it out.Unfortunately I am not familiar with shadowkeeper and cannot offer advice regarding its use.
