Where is acid storm?
30% of direct damage spells do fire damage. Only 2 spells do acid damage and cold damage. Many monsters(except Dragons)are immune to all elemental attacks except ACID. It's one of the best! |

I definetly agree Avatar, there is a major lacking of cold and acid type spells compared to fire spells.
I think ice storm and cone of cold are the cold spells, and melfs arrow and death cloud are the acid ones, other than that, a zillion fire spells. It would have been great to make up some nice cold and acid spells to use, Maybe cold strike, level 6 spell that hits a target for 6d6 damage and they must save vs spells at -2 or be HELD for 2 rounds. Maybe acid globe, a level 7 spell that does 8d6 acid damage to an opponent, and reduces AC temporarily on them for 4 rounds. AC is reduced by 4. Something like this, just for a little variety. |
