Is is better to rush and pick him up or can I do all the quests before chapter 4 and, then except from him to adjust to my PC`s level?

When I did the Sola Mod, it didn't seem to take him so long to level up. He's powerful either way.
Even though I haven't rushed through the game and picked him up, I'm sure that it's probably better to pick him up when he's at a low level, as either way... READ BELOW ONLY IF YOU WANT TO BE SPOILED S P O I L E R Bodhi kidnaps him whether he's romanced or not, and he's sort of a hassle to battle when he's abducted by Bodhi. I'd imagine the lower his level is, the less powerful he'd be as a "Lich". S P O I L E D Other than that, have fun with the mod. Are you planning on a romance or just him as an extra NPC?

I personally pick him up mid-game... Oh, and I don't think it matters if he is at a lower level for that event; it uses the same creature code, IIRC.

He's got different level up options when he joins, and I think the highest is at around 2 or 2.5 million xp, so don't worry about the joining level.
