When I go to install, the drive won't read the disk. there are not many scratches, and the drive reads other disks, but not BG. any thoughts?

Clean the CD with a CD cleaner. If you don't have 1, use a tissue. Clean in an outward motion from the center, never clean it in a circular motion.

Do you have a CD burner? If you do, try running the CD from it instead.
