I keep hearing so much about these, but I honestly have no idea what their power level would be? If anyone has their stats or could link to somewhere that has their stats I would really appreciate it, I am always curious about the abilities of super powerful Monsters/creatures.

The two hardest monsters of the Advanced Dungeons and Dragons 2nd edition Monstrous Manual.

The tarrasque has insanely high hit points. Insanely high regeneration rate. It can only be killed by chopping it into very small bits and uttering a Wish over them. This is harder than it sounds as the creature's insane regeneration never stops, no matter how obliterated the corpse gets. Top this off with the most insane ThAC0 and AC you can imagine.

The undead living wall is as strong as the sum of the people it has absorbed. All these would add their attacks, both normal and spell(like), as well as their hit points to the wall's capabilities. Theoretically there is no limit on how strong a living wall can get.

Wow! This is scary. It`s good that BioWare didn`t put this into game.
And i though that those pesky Greater Werevolves have insane regeneration..

That is nothing (seriously, it isn't), you should see the Tarrasque for 3rd Edition D&D, not to mention the fun Epic Level Monsters they have.

First off, I'm familiar with both of these from D&D, but this last line in the Tarrasque description sounds a little... off.

Note: Creatures with a minus THAC0 can only be hit on a 1.

I think they're refering to HIS THACO being so low, and I think they mean "Can only MISS on a roll of 1." Otherwise, that doesn't make sense at all... cause his THACO wouldn't affect his own ability to be hit, that's what his AC is for. I don't think that line of text appears in the monster manual at all.

That line has always confused me as well, but it is there in all descriptions of the tarrasque I've seen.

It dosent make sense even if you replace it with "can only miss on a 1" since theres nothing special about a negative THACO that cant be accounted for by the normal method of rolling attacks. A bit of a puzzle.

Does anyone have an actual 2E rulebook/monster manual?
