but if i give him wisdom or strenght

like

int : 17
str : 16

or

int : 17
wis : 16

what will be the change in the game?
between these two?

Wisdom is needed becuase of Wish spell. You can really lower your Strength becuase there are Girdels of X Giant Strength in the game.

If you have low Wisdom you can have bad choices while using the Wish Spell .

For the record:
lower STR(12) and you can put points into INT and WIS

16 points in wisdom is quite enough for the Wish spell.
You need 16 if you want to rememorize spells via Wish. Other options require even less.

You get plenty of options. Just wait and see

ps.

to compensate for the lack of Wisdom, I just had Aerie drink alot of Wisdom potions before using the spell. It doesn't check for base stats.

Do you have ToB, Waverider? Or do you use an XP-cap remover?
If neither of these, then you can just ignore all this talk about Wish, as it is ToB-only. You can get Limited Wish in SoA, though, but that one isn't all so good.

This may sound strange, but since wis is needed only about the wishes there are certain potions that will grant you wisdom needed when it is needed. int is needed when learning spells - again there are potions. Rise your con (more hp - it is important to have more than 60 hp to avoid PWK), dex(ac bonus - not so critical for mages) and cha(low prices, etc.).

The ToB Forum is still very much alive and kicking. Most of the other forums have even less activity than the ToB Forum. It is this misconception that the ToB Forum is "dead", that us veterans are often left twiddling our thumbs and calculating formulas for fun.

Most of the hardcore information for the SoA+ToB game is found on the ToB Forum, not the SoA Forum. I would say that the information to fluff ratio in the ToB is much, much higher than the SoA Forum.

A good indicator of this is the fact that whenever somebody links to an information thread, it is usually from the ToB Forum.
