Default Haunting images of the gulf oil disaster

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ynews/201005...s/ynews_sc2199

Some of these are so sad.

Shrimp boats equipped with booms collect oil in Chandeleur Sound, La., on May 5.

An oil-soaked bird struggles against the side of an Iron Horse supply vessel at the site of the oil spill off Louisiana on May 9. (This one breaks my heart)

A pod of bottlenose dolphins swims in the oily water of Chandeleur Sound on May 6. Five days later, six dead dolphins were found along the Gulf Coast. Officials were investigating oil's role in the deaths.

An oil-covered dragonfly, stuck to marsh grass, tries to clean itself May 18 in Garden Island Bay near Venice.

Maybe these two rednecks are on to something. I also like their idea, after the oil is collected, to burn it for fuel... http://www.wimp.com/solutionoil/

Why can't they just take a boatful of hay out into the gulf and try it for real? It's not like the Gulf of Mexico is private property...
