I've been trying to get my xbox360 to connect to xbox live. While its been connected to the internet, it wasnt connected to LIVE. So i followed the instructions, now i have another question.
When i go to http://192.168.1.1 It asks for my password and username. The thing is, no one in my house knows what they are. How can i find out? Please help me out.

Hmmm.... assuming you haven't set one, it's probably still default. Likely no username, but password admin.
That said, if this is the case I recomend that you set a username and password as soon as you gain access.

so, could it just be a connection problem that it takes forever to find a game of halo, or could it just be the amount of people on?

That's the IP address of your router...you can reset it to it's defaults via instructions you can find at it's manufacturer's website.
Sometimes Linksys routers require that you make an exception to allow game consoles to connect through them, and I imagine that some other brands do as well. DLink, in my experience, does not, but I haven't used every product they have on the market, either. If it's a dynex-brand (Best Buy's awful store brand), then you should probably return it, as I've found many instances of their products only working properly in conjunction with their products, and wouldn't be surprised if a base-model was incompatible with game consoles. As for the password, I'd check "default" and "admin" and *blank* for both username and password, even before bothering to go find the manual on the manufacturer's website.

Linksys' default IP address is 192.168.1.1. Try user "admin", no password.
If it's a different manufacturer, share who.

If you still cannot figure out the password, I would recommend resetting your router and then reinstalling it. AFAIK, every router has a manual reset.

Ok guys, next question:
i got LIVE to work, but while im in Halo Matchmaking, it will find around a hundred games or so, but no actual games for me to play/matches. It sits at the screen where it finds players, but never finds the players. so..... What might be the problem there?

Are you sure you forwarded all the relevant ports to your 360?
Also are you using the cordless 360 network adaptor? If so how far away is the 360 from your home router?
