This thread is dedicated to my game demo, or more precisely, the problems you guys find with it.
Download it, play it, run it through the lower planes.
If you find any problems, please put them down here.
The demo's still rough and my experience with events is minimal at best, so they may be finetuned. I'm quite open to suggestions too.

Bugs:
-In the town, you can walk out the south of the map to...the rest of the map
-After sleeping at the inn, going back to the dwarf gives a comment of how he isn't there anymore, immediately followed by him offering tavern services

Typos:
-Event 23 on level 3: "I'm carrying will of a lord of a castle not far from here." Missing the word "the".
-Event 306 on level 1: Refers to the orc as an ogre.
-Event 497 on level 1: "Oh, my, we have new vistors...." Should be "visitors".
-Event 709 on level 1: "...Yes.... An reward...." Should be "a".
-Event 797 on level 1: "...and bottled organs of every considerable for of life." Should be "form".

Thought I fixed that. Where on the map, do you know?
Like I said, I'm terrible with events. If you have any suggestions about how to fix that, please let me know.
I'm terrible at typos too. Thanks for catching them, I'll fix them.
The difference between ogres and orcs always confused me. What -is- the difference?

It's level 1 at square 11,21, where you can walk south through the door and everywhere.

For the dwarf thing, it seems to be an engine bug where the chained event is kicking in even when the Backup One Step should prevent it from activating. At least I don't think it worked this way in FRUA. I guess the best way to prevent it currently is to put If Event Doesn't Happen as the chain trigger, but I haven't tested whether it prevents the tavern from popping up afterward yet.

Also more bugs/typos:
-You can walk through the east wall in the inn room (Level 1, square 20,0), leading into the giant void
-Level 1 event 255: "...serving the occasionial drink". Should be "occasional".
-Level 1 event 65: "you clutch your money pouch more tightly as you step up to the bar." Should be "You".

Ogres are large, while orcs are human sized, and they're supposed to be different species. Maybe somebody can explain the differences better...at least until we get into Orogs and Ogrillons...

Also, it might be easier to distinguish spoken dialogue if you highlight it (i.e. use the /h function)

Hey FD, to easily find the issues that Jadefang is pointing out, you just need to open the Event Editor and look fir the event number that he's provided. Highlight the number in question and click on 'Edit'. It's much easier than going through the map interface.

Jadefang, that is a pretty good way to explain the difference between ogres and orcs.

Well, I'm probably not as busy as you are, Uatu. But, I can't seem to get more than 30 minutes at a time these days. I can't get into playing anything in that short of time. I can't get any art done either. But, hey! At least I'm getting my school work done. Then I can get a cool job where I actually have some free time (you know, no homework).
