Planescape Torment Various questions. (spoilers possible)

Hmm well first and foremost, is there anyway of entering the Lower Ward Siege Engine? That thing really bugs me......


Also i may seem totally stupid, in the finale, explain to me the final cutscene, Where he picks up the mace and enters what seems to be a blood wars fray. What does this mean, does he regain his mortality, is it in fact him dead, on ome plain of hell?

GO into the market, theres someone (I think his name starts with "D") that can give you a hint.

As for the ending, that confuses me as well. I'll have to play the game again to try and figure it all out. He is mortal at that point, so I think he is dead. If dead means anything in a world where hell and heaven are both to be found on the other side of a portal.

I JUST finished PST last night.

WHAT A GREAT GAME! Believe me it just gets better from where you are.

Ok, the seige engine. Well theres two ways in. One is what he said, to talk to the weapon makers son in the market area. Ok, once youve done that, you either kill the demon on the east side of the seige tower or you tell him about somebody else and he eats them.
Either way hes gone, and you hit the ? mark thing by the contraption near where the demon is standing. You say repress all desire to enter and then youre there talking to the golem. Really cool looking location BTW.

The other way, is to enter the godsman area first, already claim your legacy. A quest comes up to enter the seige engine and describes the same thing, repress all desire to enter. Either way you have to talk to someone about it before the entrance is available.

Oh ok you have completed the game but havent seen all the endings.

Ok, well you get a weapon that can kill you from the golem, so you havent seen those endings.
Ok well the scene called finale shows the bloodwar and him entering it with a weapon.
There are two different scenes before it. One which you likely saw, shows your mortality disapearing. The other one shows you and your mortality combining, it becomes your armor.
Its sort of a spiritual distinction. In one ending, you could say he is committing suicide and is happy about it. You could see it as he is already dead and this is his afterlife.
If youd like I could give you the way to edit the .ini file so that you can see all of the movies.
