Sharon says Jews should relocate, specially French Jews

What strikes me as odd in this is that he (Sharon), in order to make his point, has to use a racist remark. And this is the one i'm talking about.

Of course every anti-Jewish, anti- semetic action HAS, by defenition, be the Muslim's fault.

Y'know, as far as I'm aware, Jews worldwide have their own minds. I'm sure individuals have their own ideas as to where they should and shouldn't live.

And I agree with you JR, it's a shame that Mr Sharon extends the prejudices of his homeland into stereotyping the people of other countries. 'Muslims' are threatening 'Jews' worldwide? His choice of words was indeed inappropriate. I can't but notice, however that the majority of the antijewish attacks come from muslim communities (which does not imply anything about the entire community).

France failed to protect the jews from attacks. Sharon's call for repatriation is however an incorrect one. Repatriating is giving the victory to the shouters of "juden raus".

A silly speech by all accounts. I am dissapointed.

You know, Sharon is not the first person in history to have this general, nor specific, idear.

Is Israel REALLY that safe from antisemitism? Wouldn't America -- say Hollywood -- be more friendly if a jew were looking to escape violence and antisemitism?
