Mad

Just received this email from a friend and thought I'd share it with you all:

Quote:
Just seen some pictures of an incident that's just happened outside the BAR gatehouse (will send them later if I can). Nobody hurt, but quite an achievement.

Some 80-year old guy managed to roll his car, the impressive thing is that he managed this at about 5mph by trying to reverse up a kerb that was about a foot high. The security guard watched it all & couldn't believe it was possible to roll it going so slowly. God knows how he did it, must have had a load of revs and done something mental with the steering.

To make it worse, when the fire brigade arrived they rolled his car back onto its wheels in the other direction, thus ensuring that pretty much every single panel will now need replacing.

Crazy. Wish I could have seen it.

Dave
Unbelievable!

I don't think it's fair to generalize in that way. There are a lot of older people that are good drivers.

Using that line of thought, young people shouldn't be alowed to driver either. They can be just as dangerous than older people. I can't remember the last time I saw a 65 year old person street racing in a souped up Honda.

The mufflers on those cars should be outlawed. Never seen/heard and old person with one of those godawful things either.

Sounds like the fire department was trying to make sure this guy stays off the road as long as possible...

I think the law should be... if you are old enough to remember when the first car was built... you should not be driving... sadly I have seen many old people that this applies to, drive...

That's what makes you a bad driver.

Its good to know that people who need to wear glasses inches thick, and have no depth perception, and most likely got a D on the driving exam are operationg a large piece of machinery with wild abandon.
