I have finished the game before, but somehow the first dream you get is a problem for my computer. It starts loading the area, but after a few seconds it stops dead, and I have to push the reset-button in order to leave the game. I'm pretty positive it is a bug, but I just wanted to be sure about it i.e. have any of you guys encountered this problem? And where can I download the latest patch for BGII? Thx!

Quick counter-question.

Do you have ToB installed?

Yeah I do. Finished ToB as well, if that's something that is important to know.

Check to see whether you have the latest Official ToB Patch, then go to Baldurdash and get the latest ToB Fixpack v1.12.

If the patches fail to solve your problem, consider reinstalling the game. I recommend a Full Install.

Thanks Dundee.. First time I ever need to download a patch, but I guess I needed one anyway. I read the things written down (what the patches were gonna solve) and I recognized a couple of things. One thing wasn't there though; I have encountered Delon (the boy from the Umar Hills quest) a couple of times again one time in a game.. he kept standing at the City Gates, giving me the quest again!! I already did it, but he kept saying I still needed to go there (I already spoke to him earlier on to get the quest of course).. Really weird, but funny as well

No problem, and as for young boys. Not as bad as having 50+ what'shisname( young boy working for Gaelan Bayle)? walking towards you... ...

I had a scare because I thought I would have to talk to each and every one of them. Thankfully, that was not the case, and speaking to one of them caused the rest to wander off. *whew!*

I have done it before and I positively say my game boosted with both patches. There were an awful lot of bugs in ToB, especially if you has windows xp in you computer

I never play ToB without patches, either. Heck, I can't even *play* ToB without patches, as I had one of those copies with the startup error bug.
