The only big sidequest is watchers keep. Other then that there are several small sidequests that you can find just by walking around and talking to people in saradush and amkethran.

I love TOB, everything from the music to the story, at last we get the clash of the Titan's god I love those Bhaalspawn fights especially with the David Gaider improved Baddy mods.

You are right in saying there are not much side quests, but boring? I beg to differ.

There was some uncertainty at that point in time as to whether Bioware could continue to produce D&D games after Wizards of the Coast was bought over by Hasbro. So Bioware decided to produce ToB, so that they could bring some closure to the Bhaalspawn story. Having limited time to do so, they had to make ToB more linear than SoA.

Besides itd be hard to come up with a lot of believable side-quests for characters at this level.

Wish it had been done though. A proper BG3 would have been excellent, but we get what we get. And what we get is good.

That does explain the lack of depth, ToB si no where near the quailty of SoA or the original, and I find the hu8mour has gone out of them as well.

Hows never winter nights coming and whats the story behind it?

NWN - well on the NWN forum they say itll be here by June, last official date I heard was august. Me, I hope august. The longer the better. Cos Ill have a better machine, and the game itself will be better.

Whats cool about NWN is its going to be modable - as well as a 60-hour single-player campaign in the box, and a multi-player one as well, there should be thousands of hourse of 3rd party content available for download.

Yeah I think August, but I'm pessimistic. ToB boring? No, annoying, violent, and with a horrible ending, but not boring.

You are right i guess it ain't boring but it hasn't got the quality of the original or SoA. NWN i wants as soon as possible and theres another thing, Mulitplayer BG really sucks unless you are in good communitcations with the players around with you. i think this is a drawback. I'd love a BG/NWN Mud

Well, I've just finished it, and yes, it is very one way about the quests. It took me about 12 hrs max to do it and all my characters where just getting all the good stuff and my magi/clerics just got a usable amount of level 9/7 spells. It just finished, over, finale....
