I just got the Rhynn Lanthorn from Bodhi and went back to Duke Eltan; I must have accidentally hit an elf at some point because now he won't talk to me. He attempts to attack me, so I can't get out or Chapter 6. WHat can I do?

Hey, Syl, welcome to the Ironworks. Is any other elf other than the big boss "red" (attacking you)? If he's the only one, then I would guess it's a bug. Try reloading an older, saved game and see what happens... If everyone in the camp is red, then I'd say it's possible you hit an elf, but again, reload an older saved game. Best of luck.

spoilers, i guess...
are you romancing jaheira? if so, then a harper attack in the "exit from the underdark" area will make all of the elves hostile, since they have the same attack definition #. (that's how killing Lehtinian or Amalas in the CC doesn't make anyone hostile, but killing Bernard does) download the Baldurdash patch, it might help. or load an old save. for best results, i would do both: the jaheira romance is exceedingly buggy. (and it's the only one)
