Hokay, really getting into this, now... Was wondering if I join with one of the 'great houses', I can find an armorer with more than 4000 gold. I have several dadric, ebony and glass items, and am bored with taking all their money plus half their inventory, then having to find someone else to sell the junk to... also have been collecting high $ soul gems, courtesy of the soul drinker. Gonna keep most of them, but who do I sell a 'cheap' 50,000 one to? Keep thinking there has to be a better way...

And speaking of the great houses, how would I join the Telvani? They are the 'wizzard' house, right? My fighting skills are more than adequete, but the magic is rather lacking.

And speaking of less-than-great houses, I've noticed several of you mentioned 'my house in Vivec', etc. Can you buy a house, like in Daggerfall, or are you just taking one over when the owner meets an... untimely end?

Have been sent by the blades to be 'tested' for the nevarine prophecy: does that mean the main quest is winding down? How much remains, in proportion to how much has gone before?

Oh, wanted to say I LOVE the Umbra sword. Not as high damage as a daedric claymore, but much lighter=more loot. Is there an even better longblade I should be looking for?

Thanks, guys: love this game!

There are 2 merchants who will allways pay full price for your items. One is in Caldera on the first floor in the house with the orcs. He has 5000. the other is a mudcrab located SE of Suran on a small island. He has 10000. Just wait 24 hours and they'll replenish their money. I can't remember if any of them buy soulgems but they both buy allmost anything.

Telvanni are the wizards, that's right. I've never joined with the Telvanni, but I think you can do that in the council house in Sadrith Mora.

Maybe there's a mod with a house in Vivec. Anyway, just take over a house or two, just be careful you don't kill anyone involved in a quest. You'll also get a stronghold when you gain ranks in whatever great house you joined.

Have been sent by the blades to be 'tested' for the nevarine prophecy: does that mean the main quest is winding down? How much remains, in proportion to how much has gone before?

There's yet a long way to go.

Umbra is a nice sword, but there are a few better ones out there. Explore and you'll be rewarded.

Thanks, guys: love this game!

OK, found the scamp, he's a hoot, and a darn nice fella to do business with, as well...

But spoil me a little... what part of the island should I go to look for the mudcrab, and does he just hang on the beach, or is he indoors somewhere? Don't wanna kill him by accident [hoping I haven't, already...]

THANKS! Hadn't been to the ruins of McSneeze [seriously, don't you find all these names just a little too much to keep track of? Did we really need a 'Vas' AND a 'Vos'?] yet, but I knew where Bal Fel was...

so, if anyone else is looking, its in a straight line due east from the first long line of boxes representing Vivec on the world map, and the mudcrab is on a tiny island seperated from the ruins of mcsneeze by a shallow chanel. His island is east of mcsneeze-- not east from the front door of the ruins, though...
