A friend of mine recently got it and he is soon going to lend it to me. Is it good?

Its great.
Very involved. It gets better as it goes. Incredibly well made. Much more conversation and alignment than the other IE games. Very different game really. |

IMO, one of the best ever made by the Bioware Infinity Engine. But the AD&D rules in this game are slightly different from the BG series, therefore not every one will appreciate the change.
BTW, your sig is a little too big.

Wow, there are still people who haven't gotten the word on Planescape: Torment?

An awsome game for what little I played before my brother took it to college. And Sythe you need to bring the sig down to about 1/4 it's current size.

Great game if you love roleplaying/conversation. That is the only way to truly get all of the plot details. If you love games like IWD or Diablo (hack 'n slash), you might find the game a little slow. You can hack 'n slash through it, but you will miss a lot. Hint: play a mage, and max out Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma as soon as possible.
It is a truly unique environment, very engaging (i.e. well written) story with excellent character development.
