I am using Morrowind with the tribunal add-on.

I recall reading that the add-on send's assassin's after you. Well I am only level 1 (and doing very well) yet I was attacked right before walking into Balmora after leveling up. It was a assassin of the dark brotherhood.

I killed him and he left some pretty swanky armor for level 1 anyway. Since Light is what I use of course it fit right in. My armor went from 2 to 32.

Using this armor won't make the game too easy right? or will it? I just don't want to feel like I am cheating. I would assume not but it don't hurt to ask. Since I have no idea if that armor is great or is horrible I am asking.

Thanks

i think that armor might be as good as chitin armor, which is cheap and affordable (even at level 1). so i don't think it should unbalance your game.

although i wouldn't know. my char ran around nekkid for the first part of the game then started using heavy armour.

that armor is the best light armor, even better than glass armor.

good thing is that it's black, so when you wear it you'll look like a ninja.

No. Glass armor is better.

Dark brotherhood armor won't spoil your game, because you need to be proficient in the light armor skill to get the best from it, and proficiency comes with experience (Right now you get 32. with a 100 light armor skill you would get around 200). If you don't train, you will get 100% proficient in light armor at about level 20, depending on how much you get hit.

I installed Tribunal when I was level 5 and get the assassin every 4-5 good nights of sleep (12+ hours). After my first assassin kill, I donned the DA armor and have been wearing it ever since. It hasn't ruined my game; I still get my rear kicked in plenty! My skill is only 34 for light armor. I picked medium armor as one of my primary stats, so all donning the DA armor has done for me is make it harder to switch to medium armor, which I have been doing slowly.

I really enjoy skill-based games like Morrowind, where it really depends on your skills an not necessarily the items you own that make you what you are. I am still using the damn sparksword they gave me when I started, or after a few quests for the mages guild!

My only fear of wearing the DA stuff was that people may react differently to me. Some armors (the stuff the guards wear) can tick off some factions, but so far I have been able to go anywhere in this armor. It's possible my personality takes a hit with some people, but I wouldn't know for sure since this armor is just about all I've had on since I started playing again.

Good luck..
