How to patch on Win XP?

I have recently reformat my hard disk and upgrade from Win 98 to Win XP Pro. After installing Wiz 8, the patch 2001_12_23 can't seem to be recognised by Win XP. Can anybody please advise?

After unzipping the patch. Can I just copy and overwrite the files in my Wiz 8 folder? Will it work?

I recently re-installed Wiz 8 after uprgrading to XP. You do have to Unzip/copy to wherever you've put your Wiz 8 program. At least, I had no problem doing so.

Yes, got it done. I noticed there's a bug. The 'Exp points' and the 'exp to next level' seems to be displayed as 'HP' and something else in the charater page. Does anyone know anyway to fix that glitch?
