a weird thing happend to me.I suddenly saw a new spell in my spells list called:
"ashlanders' curse -drain fatigue".
it does something stupid like drain fatigue 1-20 but also corporus on self!
is that one way to become a vampire?
I didn't buy that spell.I think i got it when i walked in the ashlands for a while...

any replies will be welcomed...

??? doesn't ring any bell... I wandered in the ashkands for ages but didn't get anything like that... I found a Dwemer Animunculi spell (summons centurion spheres), I played a bit with the vampire tpouch spell, but no ashlanders curse.

Anyway you won't become a vampire: the only way is to get infected by another vampire (and choose the clan carefully), and then not curing the illness within three days (Hemophilia something - which is btw the name of the real illness from which the myth of vampires originates)

corprus is the illness of the nerevarine.

Well if you complete the cure corprus quest, then you can no longer get infected with corprus, (or cannot become a vampire either after that).

whats special bout walking from balmora to vivec? i done that about 50 times , cliffracers are annoyin but sometimes too much hassle to go by strider esp when im looking for something.

and origins of original vampires in myth are massively varied, haemophilia is just one example (and from what i know not a very established one as its thinning of the blood), others are people with advanced SAD disorder and imported vampire bats (stowed in cargo ships and came to europe by accident) when they bit people myths began, though they mainly went for cattle so superstitious farmers blamed it on the undead etc etc

oh and haemophilia is nothing to do with corpus disease
