Where can I find a short staff?

Any ideas on where I can find a short staff? I am trying to get into a particular location (won't say any more to avoid a spoiler) and I need a short staff. My team is level 11, so no one wants to drop one right now. I am thinking of visiting Burz if needed. Any other ideas?

I'm not 100% sure on this, but I believe Antone sells them. If he doesn't have one in his inventory, buy out his common items and rest until he replenishes them, rinse and repeat a couple of times if needed until he gets one in stock.

Gimli,

I tried Antone, but not through multiple attempts. I just tried multiple attempts with Burz. I can get a Quarter Staff, but not a short staff. If you know what I'm after, do you know if a quarter staff will work?

I believe you're going "retro" [img]smile.gif[/img] And no, I think only a short staff will work.

Buy all the arrows, stones and such from Antone (can do this with other merchants to) to shorten his inventory. Then rest for 24 hours so that his list will reset. Go back and double-check. Eventually, that staff will come up.

Burz and Crock occasionally have a short staff in stock..

I bought all of the "lower class" items (quarter staff, longsword, sling, etc) from Antone and rested for 24 hours.

Worked a treat!!
