Captive-Chapter 2- A new hope...

Hello everyone. We've made it to Chapter 2! Lets give the layout of whats happening:

In one party we have: Natha, the drow ranger in search of a better life on the surface, but finding surfacers don't take to well to his kind.
Calaethis-adolecent wood elf ranger, and distant cousin to Alliene. Animal companion is a wolf(1/8 winter)
Kaltia- a half-human half-drow ranger. Animal companion is a panther(age undefined)
Dameon- the newest member, an alien from off-planet who dual weilds two great-swords
Alliene-the half-drow half sea-elf noble(or whatever she would be considered) who is helping the drow find a peaceful city to dwell in. Current leader of the group, a long sword dual-weilder fighter/mage. Never taken lightly. Familiar is a miniature black dragon; a size-shifting was spell recently cast on her

In our other party we have: Geldorn-Paladin in search of Alliene's party. Alliene being tried for treason, and Natha for murder and other such things.
Skye-our half-elf friend, helping Geldorn "find" the party in return for finding a small child named Damion
Aeris-(currently defunct due to account problems)an adolecent drow who came to the surface for the same reason Natha did. Also a dual-weilding ranger(is there an echo in here?). Was left with Geldorn by Alliene because of his insolent tongue.
Shadow-another half-elf who is helping the search for profitable reasons(I am unsure as to whether the character is in use ATM)

Lets get this new chapter rollin guys!

my wolf is a 1/5 winter wolf [img]tongue.gif[/img] hehe. u forgot my weapons!

*grin* A longsword, a composite longbow, and 2 katanas as backup... (only those 2 katanas are at home...

) erm, and wood elf? 1/2 wood elf... 1/3 'regualar elf', and lol, the rest, partially sea-elf, partially, erm... drow? that'll do... or something, havent figured it all out yet. [img]tongue.gif[/img] at college cant say much...***

Edit [img]tongue.gif[/img] btw, I should discribe my wolf

hehe, it has a dark grey fur base coat, which gradually changes tone to white at the tip

winter wolf legacy.

Golden eyes, black mussal, the usual

bigger then its rugular cousins.

Kaltia approached Calaethis with a smile. "I was thinking about earlier...you were wrong...Callistia is most definatly not male." with a laugh and a care-free toss of her hair she linked her arms with Calaethis, preparing to walk with him.

Calaethis grinned "I'd like you to meet someone..." grinning he called 'Shevarash' over, who bounded up and sat next to his master. Telling his wolf to allow Kaltia to greet him, the wolf obidently obeyed

"Shevarash? Nice name". Squatting on her haunches, the half-drow reached out and stroked the wolf's muzzle. "Sweet," she whispered under her breath. "Certainly beats that annoying little black lizard Alliene has," she added sweetly, scratching the wolf under his chin. Jealous, her panther leaped at her and the wolf and all three went into a heap of laughing fur and ebony skin.

Calaethis grinned, and played with Katlia's panther while Kaltia played with his wolf... "Kat... may I call you that? Erm, you do know what Shevarash is... a deity? One that slays drow... an elven one..?" grinning again, Calaethis tapped both of the animals on the mussle "Behave, both of you" then he drummed his fingers on the panthers skull when she snarled at him "None of that now..."

Kaltia laughed, tossing her hair. "yes, i know of Shevarash, the archer. But I'm only half-drow, y'know!" she picked herself up off the floor, glancing as Callistia mock-bit Calaethis' fingers. Shevarash, the wolf, thumped hard into the back of her legs at that point, wanting another stroke. "Yes, you can call me Kat...Calthy." she added with a smile, ignoring the disapproving glances of daemon, Alliene, and Natha.

Calaethis grinned "Calthy?" then he laughed then looking at the 'elder' two... he muttered under his breath "...parents eh? Typical, dissaproving, although Dameon has no right to be though..." then grinning wickedly still under his breath, he leaned over to Kat, and whispered in her ear "and I think that Natha's jealous, those drow really should learn to relax.. still I don't blame him... I bet Alliene's gonna have another go at us, er me..." With the Calaethis rose to his feet, pushing off the animal 'pets'...

"Hmm, even my true mother wasn't as bossy as that lot," Kaltia murmered, then, wit a sigh, she linked arms with Calaethis and hrried to catch up with the rest of the group.

Calaethis stopped her, placing his hand on her shoulder "We don't have to go back, not yet anyway. I doubt we'll be eating anytime soon, and well... we're 'resting' now..." then he grinned "I feel filthy, all that drow-underdarkness-dust and muck. Yik... I'm gonna go and swim in the lake. Catch ya later..." then he grinned again "Unless, that is, you wish to join me?" patting his wolf on the head he said "Com'on Sheev, lets go!" And walked off to the lake... ignoring the other's stares.
