Need Help with Melissan

Got to the End and keep getting stomped by Melissan(forgive spelling)! I know My character can go toe to toe with her save for one minor detail. I need some armor/accessories that protect against
Stun/slow/hold person that sort of thing. My character is a F/M/T armed with two +5 swords and wearing that plate I got from Yaga-shura.

The Fight Usualy goes like this.

Melissan=stoneskin
Me=removes it
Melissan=summons flunkies
Me= sends my flunkies in(ie Party)
Melissan=cast time stop and for some strange reason (must really despise her) wastes all her spells on Jaheira till the time stop ends
then summons more flunkies.
Me= Casts time stop and even though she is uneffected it at least stops the screen from shaking due to the earthquake attacks she wasted on Jaheira. then I proceed to beat Melissan down.
Melissan=counters and always gets that lucky hit that stuns me for just long enough for her to kill me.
Oh and by this time My worthless party has been decimated by the constant stream of flunkies she summons.

See my point. If I could find some protection from her stun/slow/hold person attacks I could mop the floor with her easy.
Oh and while I'm at it What would be a good level for my party in order to survive the final conflict. Also some alternate strategies for beating her and some

Which of the 4 battles against Mellissan are your describing? (Yes there are 4 battles vs. Melissan without any chance to rest in between, just in case you didn't know.)

Simple suggestion:
The very instant the battle starts, have every single character attack Melissan with ranged weapons. You can usually get in some quick hits before her first set of defenses go up.

FYI, the Shield of Harmony will prevent hold spells, if I remember correctly.

2. If you want to avoid having your PC being stunned/held by Melissan, do not melee with your PC. Yeah, I know... it may not be possible, given that you're a M/T/F.

A general key to dealing with Melissan is (a) keeping her defenses down and (b) keep hitting her to prevent her from using her magic as much as possible (hence, use lots of missile attacks). Also, ignore her summoned monsters as much as possible. Summon your own to counter hers. Kill Mel quick, but don't throw all your magic at her. As I said, there are FOUR battles against her. Only in the 4th can your throw the kitchen sink at Melissan.

Ring of Free Action, Free Action( level 4 Cleric spell), and Potion of Freedom are some examples.

Ring of Free Action and a prominent PC will puzzle and enrage Melisan, keeping her very busy while your party carves her up like a roast turkey.
