Well from the OpenGL FAQ I get this:

Quote:
Q. Is OpenGL compatible with Windows XP?

A. Yes, it is completely compatible. Windows (all recent versions) ships with the OpenGL 1.1 runtime library. And chances are that your PC hardware distributor pre-installed OpenGL drivers for you graphics card. However, you may need to get the latest updates from your graphics card manufacturer's website. Go to their site and download and install their latest OpenGL drivers.
So you have to download them from your video card's manufacturer's site.

Not neccesarily, although I dont know where to get them, I don't think that you have to get them from your video card manufacturer's website, because many games such as Homeworld and I think Starwars:Jedi Outkast come with drivers that just update your current ones. I specifically remember Homeworld doing it, but dont take my word for it, your probably better of getting drivers from your video card's website anyway.

Well if the game upgraded them by itself I suppose he wouldn't be asking where to download them manually?

He never said that he had those games, and I was only making a suggestion.

you can also use GLDirect as a wrapper. it's one of the best out there currently.
