tracking savants ship-what the hell?

i have received the shiny ball/the good black box and the tracking coordinates but when i try to input them into the tracking machine i just get told that tracking of the savants black ship is jammed at the source so what the heck am i doing wrong?

It's been a long time now since I bothered to do the black box bit, because once you know the numbers, you don't have to go through all this. You can just tell Z'Ant when he asks for them ("what have you found?").

After you get the numbers from the box, you have to go upstairs and fix the machine with the shiny ball. One of the choices will let you put in the numbers and get the result, which is 10:24 (don't forget the colon). I don't think "tracking" is the one you want, it's something else.

You need to not track but "calculate" the coordinates by inputing the three numbers separated by spaces.

thanks guys stupid me i was inputing x1 y1 z2 instead of just the numbers.
i have finished the game a couple of times before but never did the ship coordinates quest.
