1). Fall off the map in Trynton. Soon as you enter Trynton from Arnika-Trynton road, hug the west hill while walking north (hold strafe left and forward) just before the coastline.
2). Get behind crock without killing him, while still being able to buy from him: attack him through conversation, put everyone on defend so as not to kill him, lure him out. Cast turncoat on him when you want to buy something. 3). Kill green dots with no faction rating loss. Keep everyone on defend, and use only instant kill spells (quicksand, death cloud, asphyxiation, death wish). 4). Kill the savant before the ending. Enter / exit the cosmic circle until altheidies is red on the map (use x-ray). Walk to the edge of the stairs just before the ending sequence beings. The savant should walk out and around, up the stairs, to bela. He'll then be in long range; kill him and snag his cobaltine power glove and proceed to kill altheidies for fun (and get a message about losing your faction rating with the cosmic lords). 5). Insane experience. On ascension peak, look for off the road crevices. Sleep in them a few times in a row and wake up for a hefty battle. 6). Get diamond eyes with no sweat. Before the death lord is in sight, enter combat mode, run to a spot with no line of site with the heads / death lord, search, snag, run out. 7). Beat up Vi with..Vi. Get to the endgame with Vi in your party. She'll leave the party to fight. Run from the fight, pick up Vi from the bar, go back to the cosmic circle battle. 8). Throw yourself in jail. Go to the jail cell in arnika closest to the force field buttons. Once inside, hit the button. Oops 9). Raise your iron will. Play with the combination door in marten's bluff. Alot. 10). You < Summoned Elemental < Monsters ????? 11). Set portal in the king's cave, before it's the king's cave. Return when it is. 12). Set portal on the other side of where the roadblock will be later on ascension peak. When it is there, return, climb up, wave and throw rocks at the rapax down below. 13). Don't visit altheidies at the beginning of the game. Kill him at the end of the game as in 4). Come back and say hi later on. 14). Practice jumping off the ratkin tree with a valkyrie. I think that about sums up the stupid things I've done with this game. Anyone care to add? [ 03-05-2002: Message edited by: kurtzyload ]

Fun/stupid things to do:
1. Kill al-sexodus without allowing her to talk to you.. therefore you remain friendly with the rapax, and can keep your rapax NPC. Instead of clicking on her, you just start attacking her (preferably from behind, so she dies faster and won't get the chance to summon backup) (I haven't seen this mentioned in any walkthroughs, so I'm copyrighting this method as of now, meaning you can use it, but if you publish it, I need to be quoted) 2. Do the last mission for both the t'rang and umpani for even more xp, than just siding with 1 of them. The t'rang will not go hostile on you if you blow up their ship. They will be neutral. 3. Kill everyone in the game - Everyone. can't think of any more things to do. |

quote: Actually, it has been mentioned numerous times that you can kill Al-Sedexus without hostiling the Rapax. You just have to make sure you don't kill any Rapax (or at most only one or two) while killing her. When you lose your faction rating with them is when you start slaughtering your way through the Away Camp if you choose to rescue the prisoners.

quote: To kill green dots, just enter combat mode manually, put everyone on defend, then use instant kill spells. You run from the final fight the same way as any other fight, and yes you can go back through the portal.

quote: Yes, but did they mention attacking her before speaking with her (meaning you don't get to speak with her at all) so that she won't be able to summon rapax reinforcements? btw, when freeing the prisoners, couldn't you just tp (eh, that's "town portal" for those who haven't played diablo2) out of there right after you got the prisoners.. I haven't done the mission myself, but I guess this could be done.. on a little side note, I have now obliderated the umpani, the t'rang AND the rapax away camp. I'd do the rift and castle as well if only Vi would keep her mouth shut whilst strolling down rapax lane. That horrible English accent can get a bit annoying after about 2 seconds. |

Well, if you've obliterated both sides, there isn't much point to freeing the prisoners
![]() However, you're right about the teleport. That's how I do it these days (fighting my way out once was more than enough). We tp over to the king, remove him, then 'port out to visit the T'Rang. Great savings in time and aggravation. As far as Al-Sedexus goes, weapons that KO/paralyze are what I use. We generally have her immobilized in the first wave of attacks, and after that, it's no problem. If we don't manage that, I just restore and try again. |

hehe.. here's the funny thing
1. I've done the last qusts for umpani and t'rang.. t'rang are neutral, umpani are hostile. 2. I become a rapax templar 3. At the away-camp, when I've interrogated the prisoners for the king.. the t'rang prisoner becomes hostile while the umpani prisoner remain green (why would he be green when the rest of his species are red?) (although t'rang is hostile, I cannot attack him.. even when Im next to him or using a spell, he will not become a target, neither will the umpani prisoner by the way) 4. I kill the king and every single beast in the rapax away camp. 5. Now both the prisoners are hostile towards me, but I still can't kill any of them. Here's my question: why did the umpani prisoner go from friendly to hostile because I killed his captors? If it is indeed Stockholm-syndrome, then I have to applaud SirTech.. well done! if it's a bug, ("what do you mean 'if'? of course it's a bug!") then thumbs down ... |

One episode that sort of made me grin was the first (and only) time I picked the lock on the mega-door in the bank vault. The alarm went off, and my x-ray spell informed me via radar that Lorrac and the security guard had become hostile.
So I teleported back to Antone's and ended up there just as a group of savant orbs were passing by. Down the street towards the bank was a group of savant slashers and a group of Higardi on patrol. The higardi started fighting the slashers the second the orbs started firing at my party. When Lorrac charged out of the bank, the guards slaughtered her as well. I don't know whose side they would have taken if I hadn't been in combat with the savant troops, but it struck me as odd (and a little funny) that I broke into a bank and found the town guards on my side in the battle against Lorrac, who seems to resent the bank manager so much that I'm not really sure why she wanted to defend the bank anyway. |
