Rapax Hate me

So I had to kill some Rapax near Trynton, then I wandered into the rift and got immediatelt attacked by the Rapax. I know I shouldn't be here yet, but wonder, am I going to be able to visit Rapax castle with the commons hating me? And if I kill the Rapax at the rift am I in the same boat?

Yes, they are hostile when you enter the Rift, no matter what you do. You meet the "nicer" ones later, in the Castle. :;:

Is it ok to take out all the templars that are in wilderness clearing? (after you get 2 of the main artifacts) I took everyone out, and of course ruined my standing with the templars, This will be ok when I meet the "good" ones in the castle? also what do you do with the rapax queen in the cave?

Actually, if you haven't visited the Rapax Castle yet (but killed all of the Away Camp), I don't think the "good" Rapax will think very highly of you (as they are Templars, and they should pretty much despise you by now). I'm pretty sure that my boyfriend attempted that in his game, and ended up reloading because the Templars in the castle were hostile to him (and certain quests are therefore not available to you).

You will most likely have to reload to a save previous to your massacre at the Away Camp in order to interact with the "friendly" Rapax.

EDIT: Forgot to answer your other question. [img]smile.gif[/img] You can supposedly free her, but you might not have gotten the journal entry for the quest since you have not been to the castle yet, and therefore do not know anything about her.

Thanks, Erydian, for confirming my instincts. When I first visited the Away Camp, I felt I could take them out. I also felt it was the wrong time for it. The first Rapax I talked to was neutral and said something like "You're not a Templar, you don't belong here!" Then they all turned red, started attacking like crazy and called their buddies. It looked like a great challenge (maybe 30 or 40 various Rapaxes?). I reloaded. It's possible, though, that after fighting your way into the Rapax castle, you could still enjoy Ferro's weaponry. And I actually killed Al-Sedexus twice, or it sure looked that way: once at the beginning of the castle and another time to cure "smitten" char. Not sure if the other stuff would have worked (initiation to Templar, etc.)if they were all hostile. Curious if anyone tried it and succeeded with initiation, etc...
