Ninja

I don't see why not, although you'll probably want for a healer early on. If you suffer through until your bard, monk, and ranger get healing powers, you should do fairly well. You'll never do TONS of damage (if your monk and ninja go bare handed), but you should get criticals out the wazoo...

Of course!

In one of my teams, I have a Ninja and Monk, And in another group I have both Bard and Gadgeteer.

Put your Ninja and Monk on the front line, give your Bard a Bow and pump that up (along with MUSIC, of course, those instruments are great!) Put the Bard and ranger on the flanks with the Mage in the middle and Gadgeteer in the rear.

Should work just fine.

The only problem I see is no Healing magic, for early in the game. When the bard gets higher she can use a healing harp, but I'm at level 9 with that party and haven't found one yet.

You'll just have to stock up on heal potions.

Anyone else ever played without a healer?? They might know more about alternatives.

I've played with no priest, but I had a psionicist. He couldn't cast heal all, but he had heal wounds, and could (of course) cure all the mental conditions.

Poison is merely a minor nuisance after about level 10 so it's not an issue. I have yet to be diseased (at level 20) so I don't see that as a problem either. I have each character equipped with an amulet of heal-all, so I can use those when needed. So in all, I think healing is fairly over-rated.

In the party above, you probably need someone to cast defensive measures such as soul shield and magic screen, though. I didn't think about that before...
