Jennifer in Negotiations for 'Daredevil' Spin-Off

Movie bosses are so pleased with the $43 million debut of Daredevil in America they're already talking about a spin-off for Jennifer Garner's heroine Elektra. Garner got to make out with Ben Affleck and then beat him up in the film, and now it looks as though her high-kicking character might get her own film. She says, "There is no ending to Elektra's story. There's talk of a spin-off and I'm open for it. As long as my stunt double is up for it, I'm up for it. I don't want to set myself up for something that isn't gonna happen."

Question Mark

This reminds me of all the hype about a Wae Lin (Michelle Yeoh) spin-off after Tomorrow Never Dies was released. Nothing ever happened.
Elektra really isn't a compelling enough character to warrant a spin-off movie. They'd be better off spending their money elsewhere.

I won't see the movie until it is out on DVD because I'm not a fan of Ben Affleck. I have been a long time fan of the Daredevil comic and the Elecktra storyline. I would actually be more likely to see an Elecktra movie in the theatre. As Azred said though, it is a little early to put much stock in it. The only reason that I think it stands a chance is because Jennifer Gardner is turning out to be "a real bankable property".

Jeniffer Gardner is pretty good looking, but thats not enough to warrant a spin off movie. Sorry, but here is another one I won't see, if they make the mistake of making it that is.

I thought daredevil was a pretty poor movie actually. Not the worst ever but pretty bad.
I cant imagine a sequel doing that well. But maybe the movie audience is different than I am. I dont think they are I bet most people were disapointed with that movie.
I gave it 4/10 and about the worst comic book movie in recent memory.

As expected, Alias star Jennifer Garner will reprise her Daredevil role of Elektra in an upcoming spinoff movie centered on the character, the Associated Press reported. Twentieth Century Fox and production partner Regency Enterprises told the AP that Garner will star as Elektra Natchios in the film, which will be set after events in Daredevil.
