For a list of what spells give what enchantments, check the best tips thread. I can never remember...
As for your other questions, you can bless or enchant up to your level in bless or enchant. But the level is the combined blesses and enchants -- IOW, if you have six bless and 4 enchant, you can cast up to six things. That can be up to four enchantments, and the balance blessings. If it's a question, do the lower one first (in this case, enchant), since once you get to four blessings, you can no longer enchant. Argh! I'm sure this is explained better in the best tips thread as well. I usually don't worry about toughness, since you can repair anything on the fly (once you have the skill). I usually go for damage over to-hit, since by the middle of the game, you're usually hitting anyway -- hit +1 means you're more likely to hit the target. Don't underestimate the power of the protection enchantments -- get 'em up high enough, and you can cast a meteorstorm on yourself without having to worry.

Thanks for the hint.
I did read the best tips, but there is no details there as to which enchantment or blessing does what. Even i went for dam+1. But the amount of damage varies from time to time. Even before i blessed for damage my sword(Argus) delt almost around 50-60 damage sometimes so i thouhgt dam+7 would increase it even further. But it has not. Ofcourse all ability pts are 24!! So it may inturn affect it i guess along with any traits that is. |

I suggest that you bless your offensive weapons with damage as much as possible. Adding spells to weapons is a waste of time you have to use the turn to activate the spell (this shoul dhave been automatic but methinks game bug)
You can add enchantment to your various pieces of amour so that your resistance to fire, water, mind reach 100%. Rings are useful if you want to put regeneration or simply armor class, but pretty soon you'll realise that you're indestructible and the game is too easy, lol. Getting AC above 60, and all resistances to 100% (except for stone) is insane.. |
