Head north of the friendly arm in. The farm sector is *full* of the buggers.

Er, that's wrong. In my experiance, it is only swarming with them when 4 of your party are dead, the last NPC is down to 3hp, and your main char is a mage with no spells left and pathetic melee skills

When party members are dead! Give me a break. Who are you guys trying to fool????

Come on. Help or cut the crap. This is spam and I wouldn't mind reporting it to Memmy.

Correct. Walk north of the inn, leave the sector from the north side and you will arrive at the farm sector, which is densely populated with ankhegs. Also there is the occasional ankheg in the Bridge Sector, north of the farm sector and several on Ice Island, which is part of TotSC. Are there any ive missed? I know there are more in BG2, but I cant recall their locations off the top of my head.

This is a variant of Sods Law. Ankhegs do not actualy hunt down weakened parties, it just seems like it.

Both of the previous locations are correct; the farm map north of the Friendly Arm is, in fact, commonly referred to as the Ankheg Farm. Better boost your Tank's AC; those suckers are tough if you're low-level. There is also one, just one, at the very north edge of the Bridge Map (Wyrm's Crossing) north of the Ankheg Farm.

I have also seen them in the riverbeds outside Gullykin, and in the arid badlands east of the Nashkel Fair.

But I can't go further up north! The Friendly Arm is the final stop (I'm in chapter 4) and no the ankheg don't attack when my party is weak.

You can find one from a field in Nashkel (or Beregost, itīs been a year since I last actually played this, and therefore canīt remember much details) where the farmer couple are living, a little west from the central.

Question Mark

All the info provided is correct - there are ankhegs to the north of the Friendly Arm Inn. They appear all the time, contrary to what Horatio thinks, but you only really remember them when your party's half-dead and one of them shows up. It's called the "Oh @#$%" scenario.
