In IWD the original 1 without HOW every time I level up my priest 2 levels she gets a few new level spells in her priest scroll, but she does not get them all, this is ok because I thought I would just have to find them and then be able to wright them to my scroll, but when I do find them they arent writable, this is really annoying, any ideas whats wrong, with my mage I can write most spells I find but still there are a few I cant write with him either, it is really annnoying, is this part of the game or is it just me that has a buggered CD or summit.

Priests cannot learn spells from Mage scrolls, and Mages cannot learn spells from Priest scrolls. Specialist mages have further restricted spell schools.
In addition, the two types of Priest (Clerics and Druids) have slightly different spell lists.

Priests can't scribe a scroll, period. You always get EVERY spell possible for your type of priest per level, so either you were looking at a druid spell or a higher level spell.
