Questions About the Dukes Of Baldurs Gate (SPOILER!)

I have a few questions and i would be extremely grateful if someone could answer them. EXTREMELY grateful.

1. Can you interact with all four Dukes of Baldurs Gate?

2. If so, does Duke Silvershield say anything to Kagain if you have him in your party?(Kagain was responsible for the dissaperance of the caravan that Silvershield's son was in.)

3. Can you attack/fight/kill all four Dukes?

SOMEONE PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE ANSWER THESE 3 QUESTIONS FOR ME...PLEASE!!!

NO!!! What do you mean no? What point do the Dukes have int the game if you cant interact with them!!! Im completely bummed now!!! Can anyone comfirm what the above poster has said?

Yeah what DO the Dukes have to do with the game, apart from reference?

Thats exactly what they are... a reference. Being based on The Forgotten Realms, the designers could not just make the Dukes non existant, but if they didn't want to make interaction, they didn't have to. BIS also doesn't like for players to completely screw up entire governing bodies, so that may be the reason for no interaction with the other dukes (or if there is interaction, they just have a one-liner, and attacking them makes everyone in the room hostile, and they are probably unbeatalbe anyways). And there is no way you would be able make it thru the game if you somehow killed them, because killing those 4 would net you a reputation of 0, meaning absolutely everyone would try to kill you, no matter where you went. And Ulgoth's Beard has about a million characters who aren't just peasants, but like dwarven fighters, mages, thieves, rangers. Not fun. And why exactly does it bum you out that you aren't able to talk to them. They're not that important in the game.

In all honesty, if I remember correcly, you do encounter 3 of the dukes. 2 at the Duchal palace, and the other one who runs the Flaming fist.

Yes, however, you can only speak to two, kill two, and they never make any references to your NPC's. As I said in the first version of this thread, they are part of the main plot so don't worry, The time will come.
