Party without Mage

hey,

My party does not include a mage, and now I'm stuck at the Vale of Shadows, can someone please give me some hints how to kill the creatures that can only be harmed by magical weapons?

Yes, I have a cleric level 5

Cleric can most likely cast Magick stone and such, AND you most likely have found some magical weapons already. Magical weapon = Long sword +1 for example if you didn't know that.

Please note that those weapons which only improve thaco (the green shaded ones. I believe they are called "improved"?) are not considered magic.
If you dont have a magic weapon, you may consider buying from the smithy in Kuldahar or (spoiler ahead)

they are called "high quality" or "finest"

You should have a slew of magical weaponry by this point. the Vale is practically bursting with +1 longswords, morningstars, and other equipment. Another tip: use a mage!

i think they're called huge?

Huge for one hand weapons and massive for two hand if I remeber correctly. Warhammers are allway massive.
