I installed the two patches for IWD (1.05 and 1.06) and finished the game. I just got HoW for christmas and was wondering if I have to do any more patching?

If you download Trials of the Loremaster (free expansion), it patches HoW automatically. I just finished HoW and am on my merry way to ToL, so I know it works!

Garnet is right - ToL does patch HOW but if you just can't wait there is also a patch for HOW. Word of Warning: If you download ToL do NOT apply the HOW patch - ToL does that for you (and patching HOW over ToL is a BAD thing!).
