Jaheira Romance bug? (Spoilers)

I've now had the same LOVETALK twice. I'd like to think that it might be a one-time incident, and that the plot will still progress. But I fear we may just continue to have the same conversation again and again. Is this one of the common errors?

If it matters, the specific conversation is the one that occurs shortly after getting attacked by bandits, after I took an arrow for her. We seem to be stuck in the "Are you all right? You IDIOT... etc" conversation.

The next event is a quite large one. Have you done the Xzar-quest yet? The romance will not proceed if you haven't done this, as it is a vital part of what is going to happen next.

Hmm. I hadn't done that because I couldn't come up with any in character justification to do it. Why would my paladin help an obviously evil person infiltrate the Harpers? I guess I have to suspend my personality, and pretend I'm not Lawful Good.

Because the harpers are a neutral organisation, and although they are percieved as good guys, they work towards the balance and are quite capable of being evil sods when they have to be.

hmm it says harpers actually hold off goblin and dragon raids but theres one way u can do it.DONT SEND UR PALLY IN! get one of ur other chars to get the q go in do it and leave ur pally at the bar never knowing whats going on. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

All right, I did the Harper quest for Xzar. During the course of the quest, I had the same conversation with Jaheira two more times. And then a third time shortly after. Something is very wrong.

This is weird. After having done the Xzar & Montaron-quest, and saved Jaheira from the bandits, the next event should trigger.
Since it haven't, this is really a bug, which can be fixed with the CLUA. Use this code to get a move-on:
CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("JAMERONI")



ADD] On a second thought, try going outside the city first. The one who triggers the next event spawns more easily in the wild.

That's what you needed to do to make the romance proceed (only thing that makes it proceed), but as for the same Lovetalks, don't worry about it. If it keeps re-occuring, trying reinstalling the game or such and make sure you finished any other undone quests that involve her.
