Need a Pickpocketing Thief?

if you type in the CLUAConsole CreateCreature("neb"), you get an awesome thief! I killed him before in his house with the ghosts, and don't get the story behind it. anyway, if you summon and Control Q neb you get a theif who has 115 pickpocketing ability! No Master Thief juice needed here!

Nebs backstory is from BG1 - and unless your an evil party you really dont want this scum-sucking-child-murdering-b*s**d in your party. Id use appropriate language but there are children present. And mods.

Oh and pickpocketing is the one thief skill I never use. Its sole use is in cheating - two rings of gaxx etc etc. Youll never make much money with it.

Pickpocketing is one of the skills I highly value, but I do not use it to exploit bugs like getting two Ring of Gaxxes as you mentioned. Heh, heh... and it was because of pickpocketing that I succeeded in accumulating 1,000,000+ gold pieces. [img]smile.gif[/img]

No Potions of Master Thievery needed? Dear Willard, you haven't practise pickpocketing too much! Pickpocket 115 is not enough. The "115" does not mean 115%. Some beings need much more. Examples:
Ribauld. Trying to pickocket him with 115 is unsafe. You can try but won't be surprised if you are caught.
Gorth. Trying to steal in this shop with 115 means to summon Arkanis Gath most probably.
Renald Bloodscalp. Are you curious what he has in his pockets? Boost your pickpocket to 280 at least. 240 is not enough.
Pickpocket 115 can betray you even in normal shops. Therefore, the potions are needed.
