any tips on defeating the final guardians of the seal (the ones with the hive mother and the merelith) also i can't summon plantitiers or devas in that area. is this mean't to be like this or has my copy gliched

Sounds like a glitch to me.
The Marilith did some damage but my lead characxter has so much crap on him, none of the beholder's stuff did anything except the Maze  - leading the beasties off to another room, and closing the door after one or two come through seems to work okay. i did it the easy way. play the game till nearly the end, come back t level 30 with sweeeeeet equipment and kick the living **** out of them

when you click the button to make them all spawn, flee to the south chamber where u encountered the spirit with 3 challenges
close the door heal any dmg incurred in chase open door to let in the dark elves close it kill the dark elves save then rush the charmer with whirlwinds then the beholder then the marilith |
